are GP-25 recoil pads worth it for triangle stocks? I’ve got a triangle stock coming for 2 of my AK’s and I’m wondering if it’s worth the $30 for a recoil pad... Adding length of pull may be a benefit, triangle stocks are pretty short so it depends on your size. I don’t think felt recoil is gonna have much impact.

AKS-74U is pretty bad, any longer barrel AK would be better (AK-74, 74N, 74M etc). If u want you could just put the recoil pad on, zenit compensator and any sight and you will be good.
