As you lie on the beach you can see planes of all sizes pass over you. Which is an experience not everyone will have the pleasure doing. Nearby was a bar called Sunset SXM which had good food and a lovely view of the water. The Sonesta Resort boasts an exceptional location that provides guests with immediate access to the breathtaking Maho Beach, which is located just a few steps away from the property. While Mullet Bay is not included in the Sonesta package, it is conveniently situated near, allowing guests to easily explore this nearby beach during their stay. Read all reviews. We have been loyal guests of Sonesta Maho since 2009 & brought a party of 50 here for our wedding 4 years ago. We were very excited to come back for an 11-day stay this year, but we are sorry to say that the property has not come back new & improved as promised after the hurricane.
