So long as your line of sight is clear from start to finish it should connect. Henchman027. • 4 yr. ago. There appears to be no distance limit, only an increasing build cost. Using ziplines doesn't require stamina or anything, it's a passive ride. The major limiting factor on their usage is angle of descent - the steeper the incline, the faster you move. If it isn't steep, expect a leisurely pace. I think it may be the deflection causing it to pass thru the ground, like an arrow they don't want you to find. #3. gutlor May 28, 2022 @ 7:51am. Fixed it by putting a pebblet foundation beneath the zip line drop point. The planks and stems were clipping thru the ground off the deflection from the drop like an arrow kicked by a dust mite.
