Roncallo's Samson was a good demo of the limits of this chassis, and a true gearhead's swap. That is a quad-cam V12, and a behemoth. Add to that that it's a Mercedes engine with lots of tech attached, and it becomes infinitely complicated. For making an LS fit, it should be relatively simple when everything is out of the way.It is mounted on a single plate that is welded to the main cross member and a 1” square tube at the rear. That tube is welded to the cross braces that run to the centre of the cross member. Total cost of steering swap added up to about $400 CAD. Doni and roadhouse. Share.
