EMT/Security has been everywhere from $19-$21.5, then $18-$20.5, then $21-$23.5, then somehow back to $19-$21.5?!?! complete shit show. Anyway, a friend of mine worked there and helped me get an interview for a "security support" position that paid about $24/hr. The main reason for the pay was the experience with Ccure or similar access control ... So the fact that management pays attention to the good and the bad is refreshing. The pay is not great but when you compare it to the rest of the security industry, it's above average. I worked with two clients in the Wilmington NC area and at both client locations the pay was well above any other security job. Most in Wilmington pay $8-$8.50.Cons.
