I finally bought a Marlin 922m 22 mag rifle. It is really built well, has a walnut stock, and also came with 2 extra 7 round magazines, scope mount, scope rings, 3-7x bushnell scope and a extra buffer. I cleaned it up yesterday and it is in very good condition with little wear.Marlin 922m was created by foxhunter. So I drug this marlin out of the cabinet, as I had not shot it since I first bought it many years ago. This 22 mag semi auto is a nice looking gun, and no longer produced. I took the scope off and took it out to shoot it with open sights.

I took my 922m .22 magnum semi-auto to the range today and it isn't shooting very accurately. Go find a replacement buffer as they can be difficult to locate. It has a fluted chamber which must be kept very clean for reliable operation. Don't put more than 5 in the seven round mag as it may jam. Probably not, have a bunch of 15 round 25m mags, that require modification to fit. Been working on one, currently fits fine and works well up to about 8 rounds, then becomes a jam-o- matic. A work in progress, but not convinced it is actually going to work out. The trigger/magazine well unit is a one piece plastic unit that is pretty complex.
