Resetting brinks combo lock
" I have this lock and for some reason it is stuck in the open position. It will only turn in the "down" position and this will not clear the top of the lock to allow me to close it. Nothing seems to work, including resetting the combination as noted above. The lock worked fine for a few days (it's almost new) but is now, of course, useless.
