Nursing students who are also Army ROTC Cadets have an opportunity for a unique summer nursing experience. The paid, three-week Nurse Summer Training Program assigns Cadets to Army hospitals throughout the U.S. and Germany. NSTP is approximately 120 hours of clinical nursing experience.This program provides enlisted soldiers the opportunity to complete a baccalaureate degree in nursing, become a registered nurse (RN), and then be commissioned as an Army officer after graduation. The program pays for up to $9,000 per academic year for two years, an annual book stipend of $1,000 and full military pay, allowances, and benefits ...AECP allows Regular Army, USAR and ARNG Soldiers to complete up to 24 months of nursing school while retaining their rank, grade, and military benefits (pay, medical, etc.).
