The bad point with the Craftsman jack is it will not go quite low enough to get under the bike so i foungd i pull the front tire onto a piece of 2x8 that is about a foot long. The jack slided right under with clearance to spare. problem fixed. other than that the jack was well worth the $110.00 or so that i paid.If your's has one set the jack with the valve upper most and unscrew it. Then you can drain the excess oil a bit more neatly. Once you have the valve open press the lift piston in to push out the excess oil and put the jack back together. It's a good idea to pump it up and let it down several times to bleed the air out of the jack before using it.
