Seal the joints with silicone sealer. There will be 2 1/2 nuts or bolts on a flange around the auger. Open fines compartment swing the feed arm out of the way. Remove auger. Remove cam block. The stove is operating as designed. Ashes are supposed to build up as they are and eventually get pushed off by the auger feeding fresh pellets. There is no need for you to manually push off the ash. If the ash were to be smothering your fire, that's when you would consider upping the feed rate.First, like the previous poster suggested, check to see if the auger turns.
