As someone who previously dropped MATH140 and immediately went into MATH120, I chose a good professor and got an A with minimal stress, and learned some valuable stuff for my major. Unless you are planning on adding a major/minor that is STEM-related I would take MATH120 with a good teacher (I would recommend Archana Khurana she is the GOAT). .
