Oct 13, 2018 · Fixing Kelsey-Hayes EBC4. My 94 uses the Kelsey-Hayes EBC4 ABS unit. The ABS light has been on since I bought the truck. I bought another ABS unit off ebay before I knew there was a difference between the Blazer unit and the pickup unit, and of course I bought a Blazer one. I'm getting codes for the control valves and open/shorted pump motor relay. I've been struggling with a frequest ABS light issue. This is on my '96 K1500 Suburban 5.7. So far it's been to an independant shop three times to read the codes and with the replacement of two speed sensors I'm running out of options.
