Lyft decided to cancel the rides and switch to a "better driver" who may have been just 1 minute closer while falsely informing me (as they do to every driver) that the passenger cancelled. It doesn't matter to Lyft that my ETA was 5 minutes BEFORE the start time of their pick-up request.

Go to your ride history and select problem with the ride/pay - and sometimes it shows up right away, otherwise contact support and explain that the situation. Tell them you cannot cancel, it's their responsibility, drive to their location, wait out the 5 mins, call/hang up immediately, and move on. Fuck them lol.
