There were no issues that day and I haven't noticed any problems with starting or rough running or anything out of the ordinary. This morning after clearing off the snow I put the key in and started the car. This restricts the movement of the cable and causes the problem where the shifter inside the car is in Park, but the lever at the transmission range switch (in the photo) does not move far enough. Use spark checker,timing light or put a plug on the end of the wire to see if you have steady spark. Use starting fluid,spray a little into throttlebody and if it starts and trys to die you can give it a little spray a few ...1) engine speed. 2) MAF airflow. 3) Fuel Pressure. Both symptoms - reluctant starting, albeit non stating when hot, and poor starting when cold are most likely caused by the same item.
