So I purchased a 2015 Honda CR-V about a month ago and more recently I keep hearing a short rattle noise when starting the car from a cold start. I brought it to a Honda dealer, who said it was the timing chain tensioner but couldn't replace it since they didn't have the part and I was leaving town. There is an arrow and window on the tensioner, if the arrow is close the being out of the window, the belt needs replaced.
