Hi, is 30 mpg with a passenger low for a '96 1100 Honda Shadow?? It has drag pipes and a windshield. I am wondering if the drag pipes and windshield causes my gas mileage to be low?? Also a guy said that the drag pipes do not have enough back pressure, so he gave me these things to cause back pressure.The gas mileage in the city is 49 mpg and the combined gas mileage is 47 mpg. If you are worried about gas mileage, then the Honda Rebel might be your best choice, small, gets you a LOT more mileage than the 750 or the 1100. The 1100 requires less maintenance than the ACE 750, the new Aero 750 uses drive shaft, the valve adjustement is not an issue any more on those bikes.
