Each service panel -- here the breaker laden panel ultimately serving the shop and the disconnect box serving the main house -- has a grounding electrode conductor to the ground rod (s) 2. The meter base has a GEC to the ground rod (s). 3.I have a 400 amp service from the utility to the meter base which will then feed (2) 200 amp disconnects.
