I've had this idea rattling around my head about engine swapping my Benz with a M104, LS, maybe a K20/24, or really any engine that can be possible. Right now the engine I want to know is the M104 engine. R129 LS500 Mercedes. Title is correct. I’m currently swapping a LS into a 1992 Mercedes SL500. So far I’ve been able to figure out motor mounts and wiring without to many issues. Next issue I’m running into is transmission. Tunnel is 12” wide. A 4L60E is 14” wide so without major tunnel mods it won’t fit.…
