Most probable cause is shift interlock solenoid,generally located on shifter assebly,requires removal of console.Then will be electric solenoid located at lower part of shifter.May also be brk switch at pedal. When I had my 2010 I did notice the solenoid was getting louder but I never had an issue like yours.
