There's a somewhat detailed post on this here, though it's from 9 months ago so it's possible things have changed since then. yeah, I went through it and it didn't help me. The thing about this post is that the OP found itself with a different version of redgif I believe (url ...- download posts on timeframe. For instance I like to keep an archive. I archive all my upvoted posts images. The next time I launch the command to update my archive I'd like to be able to specify do not download posts upvoted before this date. If this is not possible maybe create a timestamp file that would remember the last post ID dowloaded.

Probably Joey Dev doesn't have the redgif API implemented yet. But there are workarounds that he can do to get sound out of redgifs without the API for the time being. It's just a matter of him taking the time to do it. Joey at the moment shows Reddit's cached version of the redgifs videos, and it doesn't have sound.
