A machinist’s job appears to be labor-intensive and difficult. Gabe is in such poor health that I don’t think he could physically handle it, even if it was part-time. i think we need to remember that drue was willing to fake having the same tumor as gabe, she will do anything for attention. dont underestimate her selfishness and narcissism. this whole thing is very rushed and strange.
